You could try to list your property in the classified ads, create flyers and hand them out in your neighborhood, put a for sale yard sign on your lawn, go the for sale by owner route, or talk to just about everyone out there and tell that your property is for sale. The Best thing about the MLS is that this is the most likely place that REALTORS® will search when looking for properties for their buyers. Why? Because it is one of the most accurate database of properties and will result in a better use of their time in making a sale.
You can’t afford not to be listed on the MLS since it is the SOURCE THAT BRINGS THE MOST BUYERS and it is the most used source of properties that REALTORS® use to find homes for their Buyers.
You have worked hard for your money, built your equity, so there is no reason why you need to share it with a listing real estate agent who only lists your property and doesn’t do much for a commission.
